Laura and Carl first met in a nightclub in 2008 and began spending time together.
After spending their first Valentine’s Day together the following year, it was when they realised they had fallen in love.
From that day on a beautiful partnership was formed and after a lengthy 9 years together it was time to put a ring on it!!
Because there were a lot of guests planning to travel out from the U.K. they decided to plan their wedding over a 2 year period.

Matilda Bay Restaurant was their venue of choice as it boasts some of the best river views in Perth.
With a large number of overseas guests coming to the wedding, the tranquil setting of the boats gently rocking in the foreground and
the amazing Perth skyline reflecting in the water was the perfect backdrop for Laura & Carl to say their “I Do’s”.

A formal reception followed in the Roe Room located on the 1st level at Matilda Bay.
Stunning views looking over Matilda Bay, up to Kings Park and across the river with the night lights of Perth City created the
intimate atmosphere Laura & Carl wanted for their guests to enjoy.

Laura’s dream wedding was always going to be an elegant one oozing with class!
Pale pink was chosen for the colour of the bridesmaid’s gowns and it was a given that we continued with the colour theme when styling the room.
Attention to detail was the key to bring this all together.
The guest tables were styled with our luxury Crystal Spiral centrepieces topped with a mix of white and soft pink silk flowers.
And the bridal table was a mix of beautiful mirror box flower vases with romantic candle lighting.
From the luxury of crystals on the tables to the pink flip flops on the dance floor for those tied little feet,
the perfect atmosphere was created for this couple’s very special day ❤️
